I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience counseling adolescents and adults in various settings. I graduated from Troy University in 2012 with a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and then spent two years working with incarcerated women. So many of the women that I worked with in that setting described a history of tragedy and trauma in their lives, without ever knowing where to turn for help. This pattern that I noticed lead me to begin building a private practice at the end of 2013 with a mission of providing counseling services to people in need of support in their daily lives. I have since grown my practice to including working with adults and couples in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

My treatment specialties include self-esteem, depression and anxiety issues stemming from everyday stressors as well as past traumatic experiences. I also offer counseling services to clients who identify as transgender and help them begin or continue their journey to transition into their authentic self. I enjoy helping my clients build the confidence it takes to cope with past and present issues so that they can live emotionally healthy and fulfilling lives.
